Get started with the Public API

Create credentials

1. 1Open Settings and select Public API.
2. 2Create a token and choose its scopes, expiration, and allowed workspaces.
3. 3Copy the token immediately and store it in a secure secret manager.
4. 4Use the Public API documentation to make your first request.

Protect your access

Treat API tokens like passwords. Revoke them if they are exposed, use the smallest required scope set, and limit each token to the workspaces its integration needs.
