How do I connect PostlyBee to Kimi Code?

Kimi Code CLI is an MCP client. It keeps servers in mcp.json, and /mcp-config lets you add and sign in to them by asking.

Approvals

Kimi asks before it calls PostlyBee

PostlyBee tools appear in Kimi Code as mcp__postlybee__<tool>. Any call that does not match a permission rule asks for your approval first, and you can approve a tool for the rest of the session.

To skip prompts for read-only tools, add allow rules for them in Kimi’s config.toml. Keep scheduling tools on manual approval, and avoid the Ask When Needed mode, which approves MCP calls automatically.

Moonshot AI uses the Kimi name for its model, its terminal agent, and its chat app. This guide is for Kimi Code CLI, the terminal agent, which runs on the Kimi K3 model and supports MCP servers and skills.

How much does it cost?

MCP and API access are included in every paid PostlyBee plan, starting from $9.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial. Kimi Code needs a Kimi Code login or a Moonshot AI API key.

How is access secured?

OAuth sign-ins and API tokens are scoped to one workspace, Kimi asks before each PostlyBee tool call, and deleting posts is not available through MCP.

Something not working?

Run /mcp to see the server status and /mcp-config login postlybee to sign in again. A server added mid-session only appears in new sessions.
