How do I add PostlyBee to Grok Bot?

Each Bot runs on a persistent cloud computer with a terminal. It can install the PostlyBee CLI there and keep the PostlyBee skill as a saved skill.

    Create a scoped token

    Start your 7-day free trial, connect your channels, and create a pbk_ token in Settings → Public API with only the scopes the Bot needs.

    Set up the Bot

    Send the setup message, then take manual control of the Bot’s computer and sign the CLI in yourself.

    Ask, or set a routine

    Ask the Bot to post, or give it a routine. It saves drafts or asks before scheduling.

Sign in yourself, not in the chat

xAI recommends taking manual control of the Bot’s computer for sensitive sign-ins instead of typing credentials into the chat. Run postlybee auth:login there and paste your token into the terminal prompt.

The CLI stores the token on the Bot’s computer with owner-only file permissions. Scope it narrowly: posts:write and media:write to create drafts and posts, never accounts:write.

How is access secured?
