How do I add PostlyBee to Grok Build?

Grok Build keeps MCP servers in ~/.grok/config.toml. The grok mcp add command writes the entry for you.

    Connect your social channels

    Start your 7-day free trial and connect the accounts Grok should post to, such as X, LinkedIn, or Bluesky.

    Add the PostlyBee server

    Run grok mcp add, then sign in from the /mcps tab in Grok Build and approve a workspace.

    Ask Grok to post

    Point Grok at a file or a commit range and ask for a post. It shows the draft before it schedules.

Best on your own machine. Grok Build stores the sign-in in ~/.grok/mcp_credentials.json and reuses it.

Grok Build reads Claude Code plugins, skills, and MCP servers alongside its own .grok configuration, with no extra setup. If you installed the PostlyBee plugin or skill for Claude Code, Grok Build can use it too.

You only need to sign in to PostlyBee again from /mcps, because Grok Build keeps its own OAuth sign-ins.

How is access secured?

OAuth sign-ins and API tokens are scoped to one workspace. Keep tokens in environment variables so they never land in config.toml.

Something not working?

Run grok mcp doctor postlybee to check the connection, and sign in again from /mcps if the server needs authentication.
