How do I connect PostlyBee to Meta Muse?

The Muse app connects to services with a public API through custom connectors. Muse Code, Meta’s terminal agent, also supports MCP servers.

    Create a scoped token

    Start your 7-day free trial, connect your channels, and create a pbk_ token in Settings → Public API with the scopes Muse needs.

    Connect Muse to PostlyBee

    In the Muse app, send the prompt and enter the token when Muse asks. In Muse Code, add the MCP server instead.

    Ask Muse to post

    Describe the post and the channels. Muse shows you the post before it creates it.

Muse builds custom connectors for services with a public API. PostlyBee publishes an OpenAPI reference that Muse can read.

  1. 1Create a pbk_ token with accounts:read, posts:read, posts:write, and media:write for the workspace Muse should use.

Leave out accounts:write so Muse cannot connect or remove social accounts, and read the Public API reference to see what each scope allows.

Both can schedule posts in PostlyBee. Pick the one you already use.

    Best for: planning and posting from a chat, on web or phone

    Muse builds a custom connector on PostlyBee’s public API and keeps your token in its credential store, outside the chat.

  • Muse Code

    Best for: posting from your repo and terminal

    Connects to PostlyBee’s hosted MCP server with an OAuth sign-in, and can use the PostlyBee skill for uploads from disk.

How it works

How the Muse app connects to PostlyBee

Meta’s Muse app reaches services through connectors. For services it does not have built in, Muse can create a custom connector from the service’s public API, which is how PostlyBee connects.

API keys go through Muse’s secure credential prompt and are kept outside the agent. Because this route uses the Public API, the token’s scopes decide what Muse can do, so keep them narrow.

How much does it cost?

API and MCP access are included in every paid PostlyBee plan, starting from $9.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial.

How is access secured?

In the Muse app, your token stays in Muse’s credential store. Scope it narrowly and revoke it in PostlyBee any time.

Something not working?

Check that the token has the scopes the task needs; a 403 from PostlyBee names the missing scope. In Muse Code, run /mcp to see the connection.
